Don Bosco’s Intervention in Coastal Slum Communities (DB – ICSC) is a project under Don Bosco Anbu Illam, this is an initiative to ignite the lives of people living in coastal slum areas of Greater Chennai City.

The objective of the project is to enhance the standard of people whose lives are centered on sea-based trading by covering 12 areas on the coastal line.

Our beneficiaries are Children, Youth, and Women from twelve target communities namely, Iyodhikuppam, Kasimedu, Kasimapuram, V.O.C Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Ondikuppam, Pallavan Salai, Pallavan Nagar, Poondi Thangammal Street, Singravelan Nagar, Thideer Nagar, Vinayakapuram.
